Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Open to individuals — not restricted to businesses.
  • Most relevant to: Charity & Nonprofit.
Notes
Applicants must email grants@gloucester.gov.uk with their ward councillor(s) copied in. Larger grants (up to £15,000) may face more competition/scrutiny than the smaller up-to-£3,000 tier. RE-ATTEMPTED (23 Aug 2026): the officialUrl still returns a genuine 404, reconfirmed via both WebFetch and a fresh browser fetch. The council's community-grants index page (gloucester.gov.uk/community-living/community-grants/) still renders with almost no body content — same mid-restructure state as before. Re-checked the differently-scoped 'Neighbourhood Environment Improvement Fund' directly this pass: it is live and confirmed as a genuinely separate, narrower scheme (grants up to £3,000, for City Council-owned parks/open spaces projects only, decided by a six-weekly panel) with no mention of superseding the CIL Neighbourhood Fund — not substituted in here. No live page with this fund's own current terms could be found anywhere on the council's site. Could not confirm current status with confidence — re-verify directly with Gloucester City Council before referring users.
Requirement
Community group, voluntary organisation, or resident with a capital project idea benefiting a Gloucester neighbourhood, matching one of the fund's themes (community facilities, wellbeing, environment, cultural diversity).
