Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Applicant must be a registered business.
Notes
Detailed published eligibility criteria and a dedicated application page still could not be confirmed at the August 2026 review — contact the council's business support team directly. RE-ATTEMPTED (23 Aug 2026): the officialUrl (hull.gov.uk/grants-funding) is live and loads a real grants index — but it lists Household Support Fund, Resilience Grant, Crisis Payment, Adoption Support Fund, Levelling Up Fund Grant Scheme, 16-19 Bursary, Whitefriargate regeneration, Crisis and Resilience Fund, and Hull 4 Funding, with neither the City Centre Grants Scheme (CCGS) nor the Community Highstreets Programme (CHSP) named on it. A fresh WebSearch confirms CHSP is very much live and expanding (a July 2026 news.hull.gov.uk article announces 'phase three' of CHSP covering four more areas), while the most recent CCGS-specific coverage found is still the April 2026 rooftop-events-space article. council reporting on the same £1.5m Pride in Place Impact Fund award describes it as split across two schemes in two different years — CCGS for 2025/26 and CHSP for 2026/27 — and CCGS's absence from the live grants index is consistent with its 2025/26 funding year having now closed while CHSP (a different, environmental-regeneration mechanism rather than a business capital grant) is the current 2026/27 vehicle. Still genuinely unclear whether CCGS itself remains open to new business applicants — flagging rather than guessing.
Requirement
Business or organisation with a capital regeneration project located in Hull city centre; match-funding expected.
