Eligibility summary

Notes
Two grant tiers: small grants up to £10,000, open now on a rolling basis (this round opened 28 April 2026, with approvals every 2-3 weeks); larger project grants up to £25,000, via a two-stage Expression of Interest then full application process — this round's Expression of Interest deadline (24 April 2026) has passed, check Highland Council's economy and regeneration pages for the next round. Funded projects must be ready to start from 1 July 2026 and fully claimed by 28 February 2027.
Requirement
Community groups and non-profit organisations based in rural Highland areas (Inverness City and Badenoch & Strathspey are excluded, as they are covered by a separate scheme). Projects must fall under one of two priorities: community asset improvements, or tackling inequality for children, young people and families.
