Elevate Worcestershire Grant

Worcestershire County Council

Description

Match-funded grants of £2,500-£10,000 (the business providing a minimum 60% contribution) for established Worcestershire SMEs pursuing a growth project — covering machinery, equipment, consultancy, marketing, website development, relocation, or market research. Delivered by Worcestershire County Council in partnership with district councils; part of a wider Worcestershire Growth Hub grant family alongside the Enterprising Worcestershire Grant (£1,000-£5,000, for start-ups and businesses trading 3 years or less), the Innovation Worcestershire Grant (£2,500-£15,000, for new-to-market product/technology development), and the Energy Efficiency Worcestershire Grant (£1,000-£10,000, requires a prior WCC energy efficiency report).

Amount

£2,500-£10,000, with the business providing a minimum 60% match contribution

Deadline

Rolling / no fixed deadline

Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Applicant must be a registered business.
Notes
Re-verified Aug 2026: coverage has been extended — the council's own page now lists the grant as open to businesses/residents in all six Worcestershire districts (Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Worcester City, Wychavon, and Wyre Forest), rather than the four confirmed at last check; Malvern Hills and Wychavon are no longer routed separately. Distinct from the separate 'Elevate Worcestershire: Growth Programme', which is free business consultancy support rather than grant funding.
Requirement
SME with fewer than 250 employees, trading for more than 3 years, based in Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Redditch, Worcester City, Wychavon, or Wyre Forest, not having received a Worcestershire County Council business grant in the previous 2 years, and below the £315,000 Subsidy Control threshold over a rolling 3-year period.
