Eligibility summary

Available in: Wales.
Applicant must be a registered business.
Most relevant to: Hospitality & Tourism, Agriculture & Fisheries.

Notes: Covers equipment, training and development, subscriptions, marketing, and IT equipment; requires a minimum of 20% match funding from the applicant. Part of the council's wider Food Resilience Programme, which also runs the separate Torfaen Gold Challenge & Emergency Food Aid Grants. RE-ATTEMPTED (23 Aug 2026): this officialUrl still returns a genuine 404, reconfirmed via a direct browser fetch as well as WebFetch. A fresh WebSearch still surfaces this exact same officialUrl as the top result for the scheme's own name, and the sibling 'Food Resilience Programme' page (torfaen.gov.uk/en/Business/EuropeanPolicyandExternalFunding/Food-Resilience-Programme/Food-Business-Grants.aspx) continues to appear live and describes grants 'to enable [businesses] to add value to existing produce or diversify', with businessdirect@torfaen.gov.uk as contact — consistent with the scheme continuing in some form, funded by both the Shared Prosperity Fund and Welsh Government. Still no working page with current amount/eligibility/deadline terms for the Micro Grant specifically could be found — do not treat the amount/contact details below as re-confirmed.
Requirement: Established food businesses based in Torfaen, trading for a minimum of 1 month.
