Growing Places Fund (Hull and East Yorkshire)

Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority (HEYCA)

Description

Capital investment grants of £5,000-£250,000 (loans of £75,000-£250,000 also available, or a blend of both) for established, profitable businesses in Hull and East Yorkshire pursuing a growth project that drives productivity. Delivered by the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority (HEYCA), formed in February 2025 as the successor to the Humber Local Enterprise Partnership, which was wound down when national LEP core funding ended in April 2024 — HEYCA covers only Hull and East Riding, not the full former Humber LEP footprint, since North and North East Lincolnshire now sit within the separate Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority.

Amount

£5,000-£250,000 grants (loans £75,000-£250,000 also available); first-year businesses normally capped at £20,000

Deadline

Rolling / no fixed deadline

Notes
Distinct from Hull City Council's UKSPF-funded, single-postcode Export Growth Grant (Hull HU1-HU9 businesses only, revenue grant capped at £5,400, tied to the now-ended national UKSPF funding window) and from the HEYCA Mayoral Community Fund, which targets community/VCSE projects rather than private business growth.
Requirement
Established business based in Hull or East Riding of Yorkshire with a viable, investment-ready capital project; must demonstrate profitability. Businesses trading less than a year are normally capped at a £20,000 grant.
