Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Applicant must be a registered business.
  • Most relevant to: Retail.
Notes
Re-verified August 2026: the original UKSPF-bidding-and-grant-opportunities page now returns a server error, and the scheme has moved to a new Worksop Together Board / Pride in Place page (bassetlaw.gov.uk/community-and-living/worksop-together-board/high-street-business-support-grant/), officialUrl updated accordingly. The maximum grant is confirmed at up to £3,000 per business (not £4,000 as previously recorded), still drawn from the same £120,000 2026/27 capital pot but now described as Pride in Place funding rather than UKSPF, and now explicitly scoped April 2026-March 2027 with a separate Worksop Shop Frontage Grant alongside it.
Requirement
Micro or small enterprise (fewer than 50 employees) operating independently on a Bassetlaw high street or elsewhere within the district; must engage with a Business Adviser as part of the High Street Business Support Programme, hold Companies House/VAT/Tax Reference registration, and provide evidence of business rates paid to Bassetlaw or a rental agreement. Cannot also claim the council's separate Enterprise Grant Scheme if the business is under 3 years old, or have received other UKSPF-funded business support grants in the previous two years.
