Description

Grants of up to £1,000 (towards projects worth up to £10,000) for voluntary organisations, charities, faith organisations, social enterprises, and grassroots not-for-profit groups operating in the Lancaster district with an annual turnover under £500,000. Delivered by Lancaster City Council in partnership with Lancaster District Community & Voluntary Solutions (LDCVS), funding projects that build community involvement or resilience, contribute to carbon reduction, or support individual and community wellbeing.

Notes
The first 2026/27 round's own application deadline (5 July 2026) had already passed at the prior research date; confirmed in August 2026 via LDCVS's own funding-opportunities page that the fund continues as an ongoing annual programme, with a second 2026/27 round now open from 5 October 2026 to 1 November 2026 — this replaces the earlier assumption of an unconfirmed next round. LDCVS's own guidance also notes that eligibility and applicant guidance 'has changed for the 2026/7 year', so applicants should read the current guidance in full.
