Notes
Now administered by the Local Action Group under the government title 'Community Led Local Development Fund' (CLLD) — the 2026-27 round is still accepting Expressions of Interest on a rolling basis, but the council's page states there is currently no funding available and will be updated if that changes. The most recently confirmed funded round (2025-26) had closing dates of 25 June and 30 July, with grants required to be spent by 28 February 2026.
Requirement
Small/micro businesses, private sector organisations, or third-sector/community groups in the Scottish Borders with a project aligned to one of four priority themes (net-zero/climate crisis, social inclusion/improving services, growing the economy, or poverty alleviation, especially for children); applicants must provide matching funds.
