Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Most relevant to: Charity & Nonprofit.
Notes
Applications are submitted by ward councillors on behalf of groups, not by groups directly — contact your local ward councillor to nominate a project. Now branded the 'Councillor Community Fund' on the council's site (the scheme itself is unchanged). The 2026/27 windows are 1-30 September 2026 and 1-31 January 2027.
Requirement
Community or voluntary groups in St Helens borough, applying via their ward councillor rather than directly; must supply project details, two group contacts, bank account details, and a copy of the group's constitution, terms of reference, or meeting minutes. Projects must not create ongoing costs (e.g. maintenance, running costs) that the council would become liable for.

Want help with this application?

This one is usually simple enough to do yourself using the free official link below — but if you'd rather have help, we're building relationships with vetted professionals and can let you know if that becomes available.

Some of the organisations we may connect you with pay us a referral fee if you use their service. This never affects which listings you see in the directory. No live partner is confirmed yet for this listing.

You can also do this yourself for free via the official source
