Notes
Widened in the August 2026 batch covering Stockton-on-Tees to add it as the fourth confirmed consortium member — a Find a Tender procurement notice for 'Planning, Survey, Design, Supply and Installation of Warm Homes Local Grant for Retrofit and Decarbonisation Works in the Tees Valley' explicitly names Darlington, Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, and Redcar & Cleveland as the four member authorities sharing up to 700 retrofitted properties; the note's 'outside scope' caveat for Stockton-on-Tees is removed. Previously widened in the August 2026 batch covering Redcar and Cleveland to add it as a confirmed consortium member — Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's own Warm Homes Local Grant page names the same Tees Valley consortium and the same E.ON Green Homes Funding Team contact (0333 202 4820) already cited here. Previously widened in the August 2026 batch covering Middlesbrough to add it as a confirmed consortium member — the government's Warm Homes: Local Grant successful-local-authorities list groups Middlesbrough under lead authority 'Darlington' with the same £13,953,865 funding line already cited here. Contact Eon (0333 202 4820) — you do not need to already be an Eon customer to benefit.
Requirement
Homeowner in Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland, or Stockton-on-Tees with an EPC rating of D-G and household income under £36,000/year, or an EPC of E-G with receipt of means-tested benefits or vulnerability to cold. Private landlords may put forward one property under similar EPC/tenant-income criteria. Gas boiler replacements are excluded from the scheme.
