Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Open to individuals — not restricted to businesses.
  • Relevant income bands: earning under the Personal Allowance, basic rate taxpayers.
Notes
Landlords get one property fully funded; further landlord-owned properties need a 50% contribution. Registering interest does not guarantee funding — subject to eligibility verification, funding availability, and a property survey. Bolsover District Council and North East Derbyshire District Council, also part of the wider Midlands Net Zero Hub allocation, each deliver their own Warm Homes: Local Grant separately via a different local delivery partner — see the separate Bolsover and North East Derbyshire entries in this directory. Widened in the August 2026 batch covering High Peak and South Derbyshire to add both as confirmed members — High Peak Borough Council's own 'Warmer Derby and Derbyshire' page confirms the partnership 'includes both ourselves and all other Derbyshire councils', and South Derbyshire District Council's own domestic energy efficiency page directs residents to the 'Warmer Derby & Derbyshire Energy Advice Service' for this scheme.
Requirement
Owner-occupier, private landlord, or private renter (with landlord consent) with an EPC rating of D-G, meeting one of: living in an eligible low-income postcode area, a household member on a means-tested benefit, or combined household income under £36,000/year before tax.
