Description

Amount

Free home energy-efficiency upgrades (fully funded for eligible owner-occupiers/tenants); around 189 homes to be supported between now and March 2028

Deadline

Rolling / no fixed deadline

Eligibility summary

  • Available in: England.
  • Open to individuals — not restricted to businesses.
  • Relevant income bands: earning under the Personal Allowance.
Notes
Confirmed via Worcestershire County Council's own WH:LG page, which explicitly limits the scheme to Malvern Hills, Worcester City, and Wychavon — Bromsgrove, Redditch, and Wyre Forest residents are directed to their own councils instead, so no WHLG entry is tagged for Bromsgrove. This entry now tags all three eligible districts (Malvern Hills from a prior batch, plus Worcester City and Wychavon confirmed in this batch), completing the sub-consortium. Redditch and Wyre Forest each run their own separate Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme instead, modelled as standalone entries below. Landlords applying for multiple properties get 100% funding for one property and 50% (with 50% landlord contribution) for additional properties.
Requirement
Property in Malvern Hills, Worcester City, or Wychavon with an EPC rating of D, E, F, or G, owner-occupied or privately rented; household must meet one of: postcode in Income Deciles 1-2 of the Indices of Multiple Deprivation, receipt of a means-tested benefit, or household income of £36,000 or less.
