Details being confirmed

Some figures on this page (such as the amount, deadline, or rate) are provisional and due a fresh verification pass against the official source. Please confirm the current details using the official link below before relying on this information.

Description

Harrow's local Crisis and Resilience Fund for 2026-2029, replacing the Household Support Fund and Discretionary Housing Payments from 1 April 2026. Cabinet was scheduled to approve the council's CRF policy and delivery plan on 11 June 2026, but the council's own Household Support Fund page still described Harrow's CRF as 'currently being designed' at the time of this research pass — a genuine ambiguity flagged below rather than resolved by assumption.

Notes
RE-ATTEMPTED (23 Aug 2026): harrow.gov.uk's household-support-fund page (this officialUrl) is reachable again and still states, word for word, 'Plans for Harrow's Crisis and Resilience Fund are currently being designed' — unchanged since research time. However, Harrow's own committee system (harrow.moderngov.co.uk) tells a fuller story this pass found for the first time: the 'Crisis and Resilience Fund 2026-2029' policy item was listed for Cabinet on 11 June 2026 but the meeting minutes record 'RESOLVED: To note this item had been deferred'; the issue's own status page now shows 'Decision status: Recommendations Approved' with a revised decision date of 9 July 2026. So the policy was deferred once and then, per the committee record, subsequently approved — meaning the fund most likely is operating in some form by now — but no published policy document, eligibility criteria, or amount could be found (the decision itself is not publicly viewable), and the council's own public-facing page has still not been updated to reflect the approval. Genuinely improved information but not enough to confirm what a resident would actually be offered — left flagged for review.
Requirement
Harrow residents facing a financial shock or crisis; a separate Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments (CRFHP) route exists for residents receiving Housing Benefit or Universal Credit who need extra help with housing costs.
