Crisis and Resilience Fund (North Yorkshire)

North Yorkshire Council

Description

North Yorkshire Council's overarching Crisis and Resilience Fund programme, replacing the Household Support Fund and Discretionary Housing Payments from 1 April 2026 for a three-year scheme to 31 March 2029. Brings together Housing Payments (replacing Discretionary Housing Payments), Crisis Payments (delivered through the pre-existing North Yorkshire Local Assistance Fund — see separate entry), and Fuel Support (delivered by Citizens Advice North Yorkshire's Warm & Well service, including £1,061,623 of additional one-off 2026/27 funding for off-gas-grid households using LPG or heating oil). At research time the council's own page stated it was 'currently designing the full Crisis and Resilience Fund programme for North Yorkshire' — the overarching programme is not yet fully live even though its component parts (NYLAF, Warm & Well, Housing Payments) are each individually operating already.
