Notes
Confirmed via Oxfordshire County Council's own Crisis and Resilience Fund page (which links out to all five districts' own cost-of-living pages) plus each district's own page: Cherwell's Crisis Resilience Fund/Housing Payments page, Oxford City Council's Housing Payment page (delivered by its Early Intervention Team), South Oxfordshire District Council's Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payments page, Vale of White Horse District Council's Discretionary Housing Payments page (confirms 'From 1 April 2026 Discretionary Housing Payments (DHP) has been replaced by the Crisis and Resilience Fund Housing Payment (CRFHP)'), and West Oxfordshire District Council's own Crisis Resilience Fund – Housing Payment page. This completes coverage of all five Oxfordshire districts. General (non-housing) crisis-payment application routes beyond the county's own Crisis Support Scheme were not separately confirmed per-district at research time.
Requirement
Oxfordshire resident facing a sudden financial shock, urgent hardship, or a shortfall in housing costs; awards are discretionary and assessed case-by-case. Housing Payments require you to already be receiving Housing Benefit or the housing element of Universal Credit.
