Crisis and Resilience Fund (West Sussex)

West Sussex County Council (crisis payments); district/borough councils (housing-related support)

Description

Covers crisis payments for households facing sudden financial emergencies and wider resilience services such as benefits, budgeting, and debt advice, administered via the council's Community Hub; a longer-term dedicated Crisis Payment Service is being commissioned and is expected to be operational from September 2026. Housing-related costs are handled separately by each district/borough council through CRF Housing Payments (formerly Discretionary Housing Payments).
